The Waldport Library Foundation held our first formal tea on Saturday, May 20th

at the Community Center. There were tablecloths on the tables, flowers, tiers of goodies, and lots of fancy hats atop the many guests. Among those goodies were delicious cucumber, egg salad, and a variety of turkey sandwiches graciously donated by Café Chill.

As a favor, logo cookies made by Chubby Lil Mermaid and courtesy of Well-Read Books were at each place setting.

Both green and black tea were served by our delightful middle-school volunteers and .background music was provided by the very talented Grayson Schlosser.

We want to thank Randi at Tidewater Creations, Katy at Pacific Sourdough, The Hauser Gallery, and Reda Eckerman for their donations to the raffle which was held at the end of the tea. Three door prizes were also awarded, as well as a special prize for a lucky fancy hat winner. Thanks are also due to the support of the Waldport Library staff, especially Sharon McCrum for all her help with advertising and volunteer recruitment. We are looking forward to our next Annual Tea in 2024.

We welcome volunteers so if you would like to join us please visit our website at
