First Annual Tea Party!

That’s right…we’re having a Tea Party! And you are invited! The Waldport Library Foundation is having its First Annual Tea Party on May 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Waldport Community Center, 265 Hemlock Street, Waldport. There will be door prizes, raffles, and lots of good things to eat. Café Chill is donating three kinds of tea sandwiches (classic cucumber, egg salad, and smoked turkey), and we will have a variety of sweets to tempt your palate along with your choice of black or green tea.

Only 48 tickets for the tea are available so don’t wait! Tea tickets are $25, raffle tickets are 1/$1, 6/$5, and they can be purchased at the Waldport Library, Well-Read Books, or by contacting Shirley Hanes at 541-819-6234. We are fundraising now with a site in sight for our new library building.

Raffle items can be seen at Well-Read Books, or at the Wednesday Market on May 10th. You do not need to be present for the raffle, so if you can’t make it to the tea you can still win. Please feel free to wear your fancy hats and add to the atmosphere!

Update, May 11, 2023: Raffle items have been moved to the Waldport Library for public viewing. You can still get raffle and Tea tickets at Well-Read Books.
